Time flies!

I can't believe that my little Macie Jane is already five months old. I am trying to cherish this precious time because it goes by so fast. Macie is a really good baby. She is happy most of the time and it doesn't take much at all to get a big grin out of her. She loves the sound of her voice and it is amazing that such loud babbling can come out of such a small little being. I love to listen to her giggle. As you can see, she loves to eat. When I took her to her four month appointment, the doctor said, "Well, it doesn't look like she misses any meals". She's my little chubster and I love it! She has started eating rice cereal and gags on about every bite. Needless to say, she gets a lot of attention from her siblings. They love her and she is usually the center of attentionaround our house.

Macie Jane

Macie Jane was born on September 30, 2009. She weighed 6 pounds and 12 ounces and was 19 inches long. She has lots of dark hair and everyone says she looks like her big brother Kolby. We think that she's pretty cute and a keeper! We have been blessed to have this new sweet little spirit in our home. Needless to say, her siblings absolute love her and can't get enough of her. Jace and Addie run home from school as fast as they can so they can hold her and see her. I can't believe how fast this month has gone by and it is amazing how she has grown already (I want her to stay little!). I am trying to enjoy every minute because I know that she will grow fast! This is a special time in our family's life and we are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for a healthy and happy baby! I am so grateful to be a mother once again!

4th of July

We had a great fourth of July weekend. As usual, we went to Moroni to celebrate with our family and friends. It was great to see family and friends (some of which we only see this time every year and really look forward to it!) . We spent Friday with Eric's family at "Stadium of Tyler" which is always a grand party. Loads of fireworks, sparklers, yummy treats and great company! On Saturday morning we went to the mammoth parade. One of the highlights is catching ping pong balls dropped from an airplane and of course catching lots of candy! We then went to the carnival to play games, run in races, have a good old turkey sandwich and visit with family and friends. We spent the evening with the Blackham family at the gymnasium. We played basketball and of course ate the best food around (my mom and aunts are the best cooks ever!) The evening ended with an attempt to listen to a local band and watch fireworks. However, the weather did not cooperate and we went home to Grandma's house. Not being able to watch the fireworks was a big let down because it's something we look forward to every year. Oh well, I guess there's next year and we still had a great evening. I am so grateful that the fourth of July reminds us of the freedom that we enjoy everyday and I am so thankful for those who serve our country in order to preserve that freedom! I feel truly blessed to live in America!

Wicked!

Eric surprised me with tickets for the musical "Wicked" for Christmas. He knew that I had been really wanting to see it for a long time. The show was absolutely amazing and I didn't want it to end! I love the music and story even more after seeing it. The costumes and scenery were incredible! I loved every minute of it! We went with Eric's parents and we had a great time!

Spring Break!

We spent Spring Break at my sister Maria's house. My sister Megan and baby Mckay came with us. We had a great time relaxing, talking, blogging, eating, playing games, taking pictures of the babies and watching re-runs of "The Office". The kids had fun jumping on the trampoline, playing the Wii, making cupcakes and watching the goats. Addie was a good little helper with baby Ty and Mckay. She was constantly by their side tending, feeding and playing with them. Aunt Maria and Aunt Megan want to take her home but I say no way! Kolby kept wanting me to take pictures of him making silly faces. Here are some. He's such a nut! We love to go to Aunt Maria's!

It's official!

Well, it's official, I have finally entered the blogging world! I have been wanting to set one up for a long time and the time has finally come (thanks to my sisters for teaching me!). I want to record life's events to preserve precious memories and to share our busy life with those we love and make our lives meaningful. Just a little bit about us to start off. My husband Eric and I have been married for 10 years! Eric works for an HR outsourcing company and I am a mom! We have three children. Jace is 8 and is our kind, sensitive and happy boy. His favorite things are legos and playing basketball with his dad. Addie is 5 and loves school. She is smart, kind and is a my good little helper (I don't know what I'd do without her!). She loves all things girl--dolls, princesses, makeup and snuggling with her daddy. Kolby will turn 3 next month. He was the best baby ever but is an extremely mischevious toddler! He is always up to something and keeps us laughing! He can also be very sweet and always tells me "I love you so so much!". He loves cars (makes and models-knows many of them), the alphabet (especially the letter W --lets you know when he sees one) and flushing toys down the toilet (don't remind his dad -- senstive subject after pulling the toilet up three times!). I'm sure there will be many more stories from Kolby to come! Stay tuned!...
